the beginning of the livingstone falls. so begins the congo river's rush to the sea - at the end of malebo or stanley pool and the end of 1750km of sluggish, navigable river. taken from the brazzaville side of the river. ngok - the crocodile and the beer ... :beer:

pentax SV (manufactured in 1964), 20mm, delta 100 b&w film.

Love the use of slow shutter/small aperture for great depth of field and water movement.. Nice perspective.

Great to see an old film camera still in use and proving that they are still capable of shots like this.

The grain really boosts this shots atmosphere, and textures. Love the inclusion of the human silhouettes.
